Of the two companion galaxies to the Great Galaxy of Andromeda. the more separated is NGC-205. It is a dwarf elliptical of the ninth magnitude with little concentration in brightness. My first impression of it was a "heavenly bar of soap" which, with a stretch of the imagination, it might indeed look like.
