Not listed in Norton's Star Atlas, 185 was not even seen by Herschel. Yet it was found fairly easily in my 6-inch scope in the lower regions of Cassiopeia. It can be seen as a dim, oval hazy patch of nebulosity. What makes this dwarf galaxy particularly interesting is that it is a member of out local group, in actuality not too far from the Andromeda Galaxy. Nearby is NGC-145, a similar local member, but one I have been unable to find to date.
