The constellations of Sagittarius, Scorpius and Ophiuchus are abound with globular clusters. One such globular I sketched at random was H.I.50. Very close to Delta Sagittarii, it is small but distinct, and partially resolved. It appears to be about medium density for such clusters. An article in the August issue of ASTRONOMY magazine suggested this particular globular may be housing a huge (1000 suns) black hole at the center.
