NGC 6229

This small, dense globular has for many years been misidentified as a planetary nebula, starting with Herschel's H.IV.50 classification. Webb as was also deceived ("... planetary nebula, faint... but beautifully grouped in a triangle with two sixth magnitude stars...") as was Barns ("... sea green [planetary] in a starry triangle..."). To me it looks reminiscent of NGC-7006, and the two stars which form a triangle with it add to its beauty.
